Science in Villigen

Villigen, a village in the Swiss canton of Aargau, is home to the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI), Switzerland's largest research institute for natural and engineering sciences. PSI runs several large facilities: the Swiss Light Source, the SwissFEL X-ray laser, the SINQ neutron source and a source of muons.

Scientists from Switzerland and abroad use them to study materials, living matter and energy. Villigen.science will introduce these machines and what they are used for.
